The Audi Q3 TDI® Engines
The Uncompromising Power
Something that we take almost for granted today was one of the biggest innovations 20 years ago, when Audi revolutionized the car engine with its very first 2.5 TDI® technology. Since then, this technology has only gone from good to great, with innovations like the common-rail technology. Today, the TDi® engine is more efficient than ever before, with injectors that ensure the most precise and controlled fuel distribution.
All this has made every subsequent TDI® engine model more economical while increasing its output. This is what allowed Audi to be the pioneering automaker to enter the realm of motorsports with a diesel car! Needless to say, it won too, at the Le Mans 24-Hour race in 2006 with the Audi R10 TDI®. Since then, Audi has repeated history many times over.
